Elijah Schaffer

Elijah Schaffer is an American right wing television, YouTube host, and journalist. He hosts Slightly Offensive and You Are Here on BlazeTV. He is also a federally credentialed reporter for The Blaze news outlet and came to public prominence for covering BLM protests and riots in 2020 after the death of George Floyd.
Schaffer is nationally recognized for his journalistic work covering the deadly Kenosha, Wisconsin riot(s) in 2020 where Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17-year-old, shot three rioters, killing two. The riots were carefully documented by Schaffer, sparking public outrage over the course of several days, including a dangerous situation where a young African-American protestor pointed a handgun at Elijah's face and appeared to pull the trigger. Schaffer credited God for saving his life during that night.
He was present inside the U.S. capitol during the 2021 United States Capitol Protest; he drew attention after having posted a picture of a computer that people thought belonged to Nancy Pelosi, but actually belonged to an aide. As he was a journalist covering the Capitol riots.
In 2021, a segment of his show where conservative influencer Jack Murphy, who was being interviewed, shouted expletives at his cohost, went viral and resulted in the exposition of numerous previous controversial articles and actions by Murphy.
He drew attention in 2022 for decrying foreign influence in U.S. conservative politics and called the arrest of January 6 rioters "political persecution."
