Electronic Ruler

Electronic ruler is a ruler that makes calculations simple. It measures the length of drawn lines no matter where on the ruler you start and stop drawing. It can also measure the distance between 2 points, add the value of different lines and change its scale.
It is made from circuit board to make it easier to use, placed a set of LED digits under a thing strip of wood-like material and added a reset button and little touch-sensitive buttons on the side to detect where the pencil is.
Advantages
The Electric ruler can remember what it’s doing in case you’re measuring something longer than it, or measure something using a unit set by you, done by touching two points on the teeth at once and hitting a button.
By pressing the button the digits illuminate and the ruler is ready to go. Passing a pencil along the edge of the ruler will make the numbers go up or down according to the length of the line. Pressing the button again will reset the value.
Disadvantages
Because almost all of us is using an ordinary ruler, we don't know about an electronic ruler. We cannot adjust so fast when using it so any sort of uncomfort will be felt. It uses circuit board and LED display so it is vulnerable from breaking easily when it falls or when misused.
