Ekpe Okorafor

Ekpe Okorafor, Ph.D (born 1971) is a Nigerian American academic in computer science and technology. He is a deep subject matter expert in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning Engineering, Big Data and Knowledge Graphs.
Education
Okorafor holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Science degree, both in Computer Engineering, from Texas A & M University. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic & Computer Engineering from University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Career
Okorafor is a Nigerian American academic. He is a senior executive in Accenture Applied Intelligence, providing thought leadership in Artificial Intelligence initiatives, Machine Learning engineering and large scale technology transformations.
In 2010, he established the High Performance Computing Centers for Excellence in Africa (Nigeria and Ethiopia) that focuses on leveraging massively parallel computing platforms to solve regional problems through simulation and modeling funded by the Nelson Mandela Institution Research grant.
He is a visiting professor in Computer Science at the African University of Science & Technology Abuja and the Addis Ababa University. He has been a visiting scholar at the International Center for Theoretical Physics in Trieste, Italy. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Dallas.
He is the founder of RadicubeAI Technologies, a research consulting firm.
