Egyptian Pong

Egyptian Pong or Beeramid in some places, is a drinking game that involves a three-dimensional pyramid of cups and four players with standard ping pong balls. It is derivied from the popular drinking game Beirut. Unlike Beirut however, there are no official teams and all four players play against each other. The game consists of a 5x5 pyramid of cups starting at the base and working its way up to 4x4, 3x3, 2x2 all the way up to one cup on the top creating a 55 cup structure. Cups are usually filled with water instead of beer for faster game setup and cleanliness. The game's objective is to pit all four players against each other by players designating drinks to give to other players by landing the pong ball in a cup. Certain cups yield more drinks to give away to your opponents and more cups to take off of the pyramid. The general rule with Beeramid is that players "drink up", which means that players that make a cup at the bottom of the pyramid must take off every ascending cup and then designate those cups as drinks to other players. The game ends when all cups have been taken away. The winner is decided by the amount of drinks they were able to give away during the game, also known as "damage dealt". Whoever loses the game, or the person who has given the least amount of drinks away is the "Jew" and they must rebuild the pyramid for the next ensuing game.
