'"Edward Harold Royle"' is the founding lawyer of the criminal defence firm Edward Royle & Associates. Early life Royle graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1981. Legal career Royle was a partner of Jack Pinkofsky and James Lockyer for more than twenty years. He has been called a "prominent criminal lawyer" in the media. He has also been asked by the media to comment on judges. He is still practicing law. Notable Cases Royle was counsel in the Ontario Court of Appeal case of R. v. Parks, 1993 CanLII 3383 which established an accused person’s right to challenge prospective juries for potential racial bias. R. v. Grant, 2006 CanLII 6209 (ON SC).
