Edward Asafu-Adjaye

Edward Asafu-Adjaye (born 22 December 1988) is a professional footballer at Luton Town in defence or the defensive midfield role. He is of Ghanaian descent, through his father's side, and he was given the squad number 32 after an injury crises in 2007 forced manager Mike Newell to put the youngster on the bench in January and February 2007. He was given a one-year professional contract during the summer of 2007.

On 10 January 2008, in the midst of Luton's financial crisis, it was reported that he was joining Salisbury City on loan. He made his debut shortly after against Oxford United, performing impressively and earning the Man of the Match award in a 3-1 win.
