EDW Wrestling

EDW wrestling (EDW) is a British professional wrestling promotion established in 2008 and based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, UK.
History
It started out as a small promotion at London Road Sports Hall on the Shrewsbury College of Arts & Technology campus during summer 2008. It slowly but graduly grew in popularity and now has a hardcore set of fans that is on a steady increase. In September 2010 it moved to The Hive Music and Media Centre in Shrewsbury, which is now its currently base for events.

Championships
EDW currently has only one championship title which is the EDW World Championship Belt. The current EDW Champion is 'The Rapid Fire' Tommy Gunn who defeated Joey Sanchez on the 10th February 2011 at EDW's 'In Cold Blood' at The Hive Music and Media Centre with help from the Players Club.
