Edison Rey Batiquin is the President of the New Guardians Inc. Cebu Philippines Chapter, President of the Suboanong Kumentaristang Nagpakabana SUKNA Inc., and The Alliance of Students for Democracy ASD Inc. He studied at Regino Mercado National High School, in Pahina Central Cebu in his elementary and High School, and then he proceed to College at the University of Cebu, College of Liberal Arts major in Political Science. In line with his course he became a coordinator of the Alliance for Nationalism and Democracy ANAD Partylist, with its representative to the Philippine Congress, Cong. Pastor Jun M. Alcover. His very strong Anti-Communism advocacy led to the formation of the Anti-Communism, Anti-Terrorism, and Anti Violence organization in the Student Sector, the organization was named as The Alliance of Students for Democracy ASD Inc.
