EBay Boycott of 2008

The eBay Boycott of 2008 is a strike against eBay commenced on February 18, 2008 by users in objection to eBay's updated fee structure and feedback policy. The strike is planned to last until at least February 25th, 2008.

When eBay announced increased final value fees with the pretext of lowered insertion fees, it was found out that, after calculating, the costs to sell on eBay turned out to be more than before, after averaging out the revised fees. Moreover, it was announced that sellers could no longer leave negative nor neutral feedback.
