East Pictou Middle School

East Pictou Middle School (EPM) is a Canadian junior-high school in Sutherlands River, Nova Scotia. It serves approximately 300 students from the eastern side of Pictou County. It is administratively part of the "Celtic Region" of the Chignecto-Central Regional School Board. The school's official colours are blue and gold. It teaches a broad variety of materials, from traditional academics, to the Fine Arts, to Co-Op courses. The school is also active in sports and extracurricular activities.
East Pictou Middle School is a very large school, considering their numbers, with only 300 students, the school is built for 1000. The school started as a highschool being one of the largest in the provience. Until 2004, when North Nova Education Centre opened. The school has 2 tech-style labs, 2 gyms a library, a large music room, an art room, a cafeteria, a gym suitble for most sports, and with a large stage. The school has played a large role with bullying prevention of the provience, with one day a month called 'anti-bullying day', students practice anti-bulling skills and styles.
