Duane Vander Klok

Duane Vander Klok is the senior pastor of Resurrection Life Church, a megachurch in Grandville, Michigan, as well as the founding president of Resurrection Life Church International, the host of the television program Walking By Faith, and the author of a number of inspirational books. During his time as pastor, Resurrection Life Church has grown from a few hundred to over 8000 weekly attendants and has helped plant over 30 new churches.
Early Ministry
Pastor Vander Klok, a native of West Michigan, graduated from the Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas, where he met his future wife, Jeanie. He then earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Theology degree at Zoe College, Jacksonville, Florida. After graduation, the couple moved to Mexico where they ministered for several years, teaching in a Bible school and establishing many churches. They returned to the United States in 1983, and in 1984 began pastoring People's Church in Grandville, Michigan after the retirement of former pastor Jim Bugg. The church was soon renamed to Resurrection Life Church. He has four children: Joshua, Samuel, Daniel, and Stephanie.
