Dr. Papolu Rama Devi, a renowned gynecologist and fertility expert, is the Founder, Director and Chief Consultant at Dr. Rama’s Institute for Fertility, Hyderabad, India. She has gained expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. With firm interest in fertility issues, Dr. Rama Devi founded Dr. Rama’s Institute for Fertility in 1991 in Hyderabad, India. Here, at this reputed clinic, Dr. Rama Devi has treated a record number of more than six thousand cases of IVF and was consulted in more than 60 thousand cases.
Background and Educational Qualifications
Dr. Rama Devi completed her M.B.B.S, DGO and MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. She also gained a specialization in A.A.R.T and IVF from Gottingen, Germany.
Apart from her basic qualifications, Dr. Rama Devi has extended her knowledge base and experience by attending various critical trainings.

Career
Immediately after her MD in 1983, Dr. P. Rama Devi joined as a Consultant Gynaecologist for Government of Iran and acquired international recognition for her assiduous services in taking care of patients with gynecological problems. She worked relentlessly for 4 years to help Iranian women with various gynecological issues. She returned to India in 1991 and decided to help women with fertility issues and established Dr. Rama’s Institute for Fertility

This leading Institute for Fertility at Hyderabad (India) is a unique and pioneering center that provides consultation, diagnostics, medical and surgical intervention to help couples with fertility issues. Social Activities
Dr. Papolu Rama Devi has been an ardent social worker and has been always engaged in social welfare and social awareness activities since her student days.
She was member of the medical team that went to DIVISEEMA during the disastrous 1977 cyclone / tidal wave that hit the Divi Taluq of Krishna District resulting in over 20,000 deaths. During this disaster she rendered voluntary service for 15 days in disease treatment and disease prevention activities.
She has been continuously participating in health campaigns conducted by the Rotary Club, Hyderabad Mid-Town. She has also participated in health camps conducted by Hyderabad Round Table organization.
She is an active mediator of Sidha Samadhi Yoga and has contributed for setting up facilities for meditation. She has given educational talks on All India Radio and Cable Television Channels.
She is a Paul Harris Member from Rotary Club (International) and participates in all the social activities conducted by Rotary International (Pulse Polio Eradication, Help to Physically challenged, Awareness about environment pollution etc.)
Regularly conducts Free Medical Camps in various villages spread all over Andhra Pradesh (province).
Attended in a medical team to help in the event of Natural Calamities , Cyclones / Tidal wave .
