Dr Nancy Mroczek

Dr. Nancy Mroczek is a Boston based psychologist, philosopher, musician, TV personality and filmmaker has insights into many issues from animal rights, politics and environment to role of psychology today. By way of an open-ended process that incorporates principles of behavior, empathy, psychodynamic therapy, and existential thought, she facilitates behavior change to help people gain perspective on life and learn more about themselves.
Personal Background
Dr. Mroczek received a BA from Boston University in the Liberal Arts with a Psychology focus. She received an MS in General & Experimental Psychology from the University of Miami, and her doctorate degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology at Westwood Lodge in Westwood, Massachusetts.
Psychology
As a pyschologist, Dr. Mroczek has worked with a broad range of people, and has come in contact with a broad range of problems. Over the course of her 30 year career, she has specialized in individual behavior change (behavior management), behavior medicine, neuropsychology (medical psychology), and existential & dynamic psychology. She has worked in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and private practice; and, in doing so, has treated patients suffering from physical stress, emotional bereavement, anxiety, depression (especially), maladaptive behavior, anger management, etc.
Psychology in Trading
Dr Nancy's work in this field is worth mentioning here. “Managing futures and options trading is alot about managing yourself” is the mantra from Dr. Mroczek. She quotes 'One must have greater self control to come back from losses , to minimize stress to effectively manage money.'3 In her study she showed that, 'If one can manage time better, she is bound to make more quicker and responsible decisions.'4 Dr. Mroczek is a Series 3 Registrant with the NFA. Being a psychologist in trading market and a TV personality, she is a behavior expert.
