Captain Douglas (Doug) Keirstead, CD, AdeC, BBA is an Aide-de-Camp to His Honour Brigadier-General the Honourable John James Grant, CMM, ONS, CD, (Retired) Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia. Background Keirstead previously served as an Aide-de-Camp to the Honourable Mayann Francis from 2006 to 2012. He was awarded the Vice-Regal Commendation in 2011 in recognition of commendable service to the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia, and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012 in recognition of his contributions to Canada and Nova Scotia. He is a graduate of Acadia University, and serves as a Canadian Forces Public Affairs Officer in Halifax, Nova Scotia. |
