Double connecting rod engine

This is called double connecting rod engine, which includes “a mechanism for converting each reciprocator motion to two times rotation of the crank by providing a double connecting rod." It works similar to internal-combustion engines and all types of reciprocating engines wherein the double connecting rod engine is also an alternative engine for the existing single connecting rod engine.
Principle of operation
The mechanism consists of a Piston, which reciprocates within a Cylinder. A Double connecting rod is pivotally connected to the Piston. A cam member is fixedly mounted to the second connecting rod. The connecting rod is in turn is pivoted to a crank wheel, which in turn is fixedly mounted to the shaft end. As the piston starts moving from top to bottom, one rotation of the crank is achieved and by the time it returns to its original position another rotation of the crank is over, thereby two times rotation of the crank being achieved for every reciprocatory motion.
Applications
a double connecting rod engine will be useful for all types of reciprocating engines, which increases the efficiency of the Engine.
