Dorrell Jalloh

Dorrell Jalloh (born March 21, 1986 in Reading, Pennsylvania) is an American football receiver for the West Virginia Mountaineers.
Early life
Jalloh played his high school football at Western Guilford High in Greensboro, North Carolina. He caught 105 passes for 1,531 yards and 10 scores as a senior, (Stats) which set school records. He was also second in the state in all receiving categories. Jalloh also scored three times on kick returns. He was an AP first team all-state, all-conference, all-area, and all-county selection as well as being a regional qualifier in track.
Collegiate career
Freshman season
Jalloh did not see varsity action in 2004 at West Virginia, and thus was redshirted by head coach Rich Rodriguez.
In 2005, Jalloh saw more action due to his impressive blocking in practice. He made his first collegiate start against Wofford. Against Virginia Tech, Jalloh caught a 46 yard touchdown pass from freshman quarterback Pat White. Against Louisville, Jalloh caught a 10 yard reception in regulation. Jalloh etched himself in West Virginia football lore when he caught the eventual game-winning two-point conversion pass from White, that put the Mountaineers ahead 46-38 and sealed the win 46-44. He also had a 10 yard grab against Connecticut.
Sophomore season
In 2006, Jalloh only saw action in three games, but had his best statistical season of his career. Jalloh saw his first action of the season against Eastern Washington on a 10 yard catch. His next action came later in the season against South Florida, when he grabbed two passes for 22 yards in the upset loss. Against Rutgers, Jalloh saw the most action of his career. He grabbed 4 catches in the overtime-thriller for 92 yards with a long catch of 48 yards.
Junior season
Jalloh headed into the 2007 season as one of the leading candidates for starting receiver with Darius Reynaud, with senior Brandon Myles gone for the NFL Draft. In the first game of the season against Marshall, Jalloh finished the game with 3 receptions for 39 yards and a touchdown. Against Maryland, Jalloh had a 21 yard reception; then against ECU, Jalloh totaled three catches for 29 yards. In the loss to USF, Jalloh had 5 receptions for a season-high 87 yards. Jalloh sat out the Syracuse and Mississippi State games, but returned with four receptions for 44 yards against Rutgers. He then had two receptions for 33 yards against Cincinnati. He was awarded the team's Ideal Mountaineer Man award at the conclusion of the regular season.
Jalloh finished the season as the team's third-leaving receiver, behind Darius Reynaud and tailback Steve Slaton, with 24 receptions for 272 yards and a touchdown.
Senior season
Dorell Jalloh entered his senior season of 2008 as the most experienced receiver on the team. However, in the season opening victory against the Villanova Wildcats, 48-21, Jalloh only totaled two receptions for 7 yards. In the 17-14 loss to the Colorado Buffaloes, Jalloh caught two passes for 20 yards. In the victory over Marshall, Jalloh had two receptions for 32 yards and his first touchdown of the season.
After seeing limited time against Rutgers and Syracuse, Jalloh caught 4 passes for 53 yards and two touchdowns in the 34-17 victory over Auburn. Jalloh's touchdown receptions were of two yards and 32 yards, respectively. The game marked Jalloh's first career multi-touchdown effort. Following the career-game effort against Auburn, Jalloh recorded 5 receptions for 73 yards in the 35-13 win over #25 Connecticut.
In the following 26-23 overtime loss to Cincinnati, Jalloh recorded 4 receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown. Jalloh's score was a 3-yard pass on second-and-goal with 19 seconds left in the game to spring the Mountaineers back from 20-7 down, to tie the game at 20 with a Pat McAfee field goal, before losing in overtime.
