Donny B. Lord

Donny B. Lord is a Caribbean actor, singer-songwriter, professional dancer and record producer. Donny has worked with the likes of Skip Saylor and Bernie Grundman.
Early years
Donny also know as D.B.L. was born in the British West Indies but hails from a multi-cultural ethnic background. He started in the entertainment industry as a child actor and dancer, landing leading roles in commercials for Pepsi, Cheerios and Footlocker, and also television and film. He starred in the made-for-television film Final Shot: The Hank Gathers Story, playing a young Hank Gathers.
After being approached by a prominent musical icon to join a Pop boy group, his focus shifted to music. He has been mentored by some of the industry’s premier figures of music, including a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer with whom he spent more than ten years developing his songwriting, vocal abilities and music production.
D.B.L.’s music has been used for prime time television, including “The District” and “Cane” on CBS, “My Super Sweet 16″ on MTV, as well as for promotional campaigns for Motorola and Verizon. One of his songs, Fire!, placed second place in the in the Dance category.

On March 28, 2011, Lord has released his debut single entitled "Party On The Moon" on iTunes. His debut music video directed by Yolande Geralds was released on donnyblord.com.
