Dolf

Dolf is a darts game that uses the standard 20 number dartboard with the treble and double rings. It is a combination of both Darts and Golf. Rules were formalised in September 1999 by the World Dolf Federation (WDFF). It builds upon other dart games including other variants of Darts and Golf.
Gameplay
Dolf is typically played between 2, 3 or 4 players, although the rules do not prevent more players. The goal of Dolf is to be the player with lowest score after 20 holes.
Scoring
Dolf uses the numbers 1 to 20, the 25 and the bull's-eye. Each player throws a minimum of 3 darts at each number from 1 to 20 consecutively as if moving from one hole to the next on a golf course. If the player hits the single, they score 0, if the player hits the double, they score -1, if they hit the triple, they score -2, if they hit the 25, they get another turn and the dart back, if they hit the bull's-eye they get 2 additional turns and their dart back.
Once a player hits any area of a the hole they are on, they can score no worse, any dart thrown prior, that misses, is scored as +1 and any subsequent dart that hits the area is scored as -1.
As a result, there is no minimum or maximum score a player can receive on a particular score or a game in general.
Tiebreak
During a tiebreak the previous rules of scoring do not apply. If more than one player has the same score in the end of the final round of a tournament, a tiebreak round will be played with all of the players that are tied. The tiebreak round will have each player attempt to shoot "the Hooves" (the Bull, the 25 and the triple 20).
If a dart does not land in one of the Hooves, the player’s turn is not over and they are to attempt the same hoof once again. A player's turn will end if their dart lands in a Hoof out of consecutive order. Further, the player to get the most Hooves in consecutive order will win the tiebreak. If more than one player ties for the most amount of Hooves at the end of the tiebreak, the tiebreak will restart with those players. This continues until there are no more tied players at the end of a tiebreak round.
Playing
In a tournament, the tournament organizers will choose the order the players will play the game in the first 3 rounds. In the final 4th round, the players with the lowest scores will play last. In recreational play, to start the game, typically overtime rules are used to determine who goes first.
Example game
The Player is on hole one, shooting at the one on the dartboard. They miss the first dart and score +1, their second dart hits the single(typically black) and they score 0. Their third dart hits the single area and because it is their second dart in the area of the hole they are on, they score -1. Their total score for hole one is 0 or par.
The Player is on hole eleven, shooting at the eleven on the dartboard. They miss the first dart and score +1, their second dart hits the triple and they score -2. Their third dart hits the single area and because it is their second dart in the area of the hole they are on, they score -1. Their total score for hole one is -2 or eagle.
The Player is on hole twenty, shooting at the twenty on the dartboard. They hit the double with the first dart and score -1, their second dart hits the triple and they score -2. Their third dart hits the single area and because it is their second dart in the area of the hole they are on, they score -1. Their total score for hole one is -4 or double eagle.
The Player is on hole twenty, shooting at the twenty on the dartboard. They hit the double with the first dart and score -1, their second dart hits the triple and they score -2. The Player is on hole twenty, shooting at the twenty on the dartboard. They hit the singlewith the first dart and score -1, their second dart hits the single and they score -1. They hit the 25 with the first dart, get their dart back, get an additional turn and do not score, their second dart hits the triple and they score -2. Their third dart hits the single area and because it is their second dart in the area of the hole they are on, they score -1, their fourth dart hits the single and they score -1.
