Biography
Early life
Dolano was born in Germany. Her name at birth was Eva. Dolano says that she grew up in institutions while her mother struggled with mental illness. She also says that as a young woman she became addicted to heroin.
The Osho years
In 1979, Dolano went to Pune, India to visit the ashram of Bhaghwan Shree Rajneesh, the Indian mystic now known as Osho. Osho gave her the name Dolano. Dolano says that her heroin addiction dropped while she became addicted to meditation. For years, according to Dolano, she would spend many hours meditating daily. Until Osho's death in 1990, Dolano stayed a the ashram, where she took care of the swans.
After Osho's death, Dolano spent two weeks with the Indian Guru Poonjaji (aka Papaji). According to Dolano, shortly after returning to the Osho ashram, she came to know the answer to the question "who am I". After that, she says, while she continued meditating, her mind was gradually liberated, until the moment in 1992 when, in Dolano's words, "the drop dropped".
Dolano continued to take care of the swans at the Osho commune until 1999, when she moved out and started her "Intensive Satsang" process.
