Docketing software

Docketing software is computer software for use in scheduling legal matters. In ex parte proceedings, litigation, and other legal matters, timing is highly critical. The schedule used by one who practices before a court is called a docket. Docketing software is also known as matter management or case management software, although generally the term docketing software refers to intellectual property software applications. Docketing systems are designed to manage aspects of the intellectual property (IP) assets of a business organization, including patents, trademarks, licences and royalties.
