DJ Young Chow

Patrick Chow, known professionally as DJ Young Chow is a DJ and music producer based in New York City. He puts together events throughout the City. Young Chow owns a restaurant in Brooklyn, NY and runs a vegan meal prep delivery service.
Early life
His father, King Chow, was a Soca DJ. He started his career playing at the Ramada Hotels in Miami at age 10. Two years later he travelled to Africa to perform with a steel band instrument group.
Career
Young Chow was raised in New York and in 2009 started representing for Funk Flex, Big Dawg Pitbull Crew. In 2010, he toured with reggae artist, Gyptian. He began Soca-inspired music on commercial New York radio station Hot97 in 2009.
In 2015 he was nominated for a Global Spin Award as Reggae DJ of the Year. Chow has cited a strong Caribbean influence throughout his career.
In 2016 he debuted his first single, “Waist Gal,” produced by Ricky Blaze.
In 2019 Young Chow opened a restaurant in Brooklyn called Caribbean Kitchen.
In 2020 he started a Caribbean vegan meal prep business, The Vegan Meal Prep.
