Mustafa Qaronni, also known as DJ Sadcat is an Emirati DJ with a passion for music. He started his career with the party raves and club events that took place in the 90s, which had an enormous impact on him. During this period, DJ SadCat started a very successful career as a self-taught DJ (Disc jockey). Later on in 2004, he developed his mixtapes which his friend encouraged him to embark on an international career. DJ Sadcat has Dj’d in the top night clubs from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Bangkok, Thailand, London, UK, Muscat, Oman, Amman, Jordan and many other places.
Sadcat has DJ’d for top hip-hop artists such as 50 Cent, Rick Ross, Busta Rhymes, Flo Rida , Future , Swizz Beatz and many others.
DJ Sadcat plays a mixed range of music such as Urban, Reggae and House. For Sadcat it all depends on the crowd. He enjoys making the crowd move and have a great time. His sets are full of energy and great format of music. DJ Sadcat currently DJs at Base Dubai, UAE.
Early life
DJ SadCat had already discovered a great passion for music. The legendary raves in the nineties and numerous club events of the noughties greatly influenced his musical direction. By 2004 DJ SadCat had taught himself the skills required to become a successful DJ,
creating his own mixes and mix tapes. It was during private parties in these early days that his talents were recognised by others and high demand for his work required him to turn professional.
When discussing his musical style, DJ SadCat states,
“My sound is Urban with a touch of Reggae. Funky and House influence my sets too. I take my cue from the crowd”.
DJ Sad Cat knows his craft and has an understanding of what people want to hear at each venue. He loves to interact with the crowd and move people. His ability to read the crowd and
select the right music to play is what has brought him from intimate to mass venues.
DJ Sad Cat has played for a wide variety of artists across a huge range of locations throughout Dubai, the UAE and internationally. Currently he plays regularly to a crowd of 2000 and for world class artists from across the globe.
