DJ 500Benz

DJ 500Benz (born B. Leinen) is an electronic music producer from Iowa City, Iowa. He released his debut EP, titled Geometrics, in November of 2012. He has since released eight additional free instrumental albums.
Biography
At the age of 15, B. Leinen started making beats. His earliest gigs as a club DJ were with multiplatinum rappers Twista & Chingy.
Under the name Doc Da Suess, Leinen co-produced a song with DJ Nasty (who did work for Ludacris and Lil Wayne) called "Go Fish."
Leinen spent a year working with local artist Trey Diggz and G.O.O.D. Music producer Keezo Kane. Diggz album, also produced by Kane, was shelved and Leinen was back to square one. He became "DJ 500Benz" after meeting producer/engineer Tommy D of Death Row Records, formerly a producer for 2Pac and Dr. Dre.
Pre-2012, DJ 500Benz had a very limited track record of official releases. The majority of his tracks and DJ mixes circulated on the Internet in 2012, when he produced the bulk of independent rapper Rahlan Kay's "Relationships" album. His first official release to get major notice was entitled "Geometrics EP" which then lead to 8 more instrumental EP/LPs released from November 2012 to February 2013 via his Bandcamp page. His tenth release is tentatively titled, "Commercial Break 2." His releases are now distributed through Datpiff & Spotify.
