Divya Sathyaraj is a nutritionist. She is the daughter of film actor Sathyaraj and film producer Maheswari Sathyaraj, and sister of actor Sibiraj. Sathyaraj studied in sSherwoodhall School, in Chennai until 10th grade when she moved to Church Park, Sacred Heart for her 11th and 12th grades. Sathyaraj learnt classical dance from Mrs.Chitra Visweswaran and is a table tennis player. Sathyaraj acted in a short film on child labour which was directed by Mr.Shirazi from Kolkata. This film was screened at international film festivals.
Divya Sathyaraj has completed her M.Phil in nutrition and counselling and started working with Prashant Multispecialty Hospital, Chennai in 2009. Her areas of expertise include nutrition and diet therapies for patients with PCOS, Diabetes, thyroid, weight loss, weight gain, gout, cholesterol and other conditions. Divya Sathyaraj also devises nutritional therapies for pregnant women. She also practices at the Suman Clinic, Mahalingapuram in Chennai. She is currently working on a book on food and nutritio and will be opening a diet studio soon.
