Divine Predecessor

Divine Predecessors are characters on the science fiction series Lexx.
Divine Predecessors are the brains from the former bodies that were occupied by His Divine Shadow. When His Shadow died, his brain would be removed and the Divine Predecessors would share their wisdom with His Shadow. Due to the His Shadow's brain not being fully cleansed, he decided to take the Divine Predecessors along with him aboard the Lexx.
While His Divine Shadow was a cunning and sinister character who was never played for laughs, the Divine Predecessors were evil but generally ineffective thanks to their complete immobility, and their petty arguing with Stanley Tweedle was often the source of comedy. Amidst gales of laughter, they sing a song to torment him:
Stanley finally enjoys a moment of triumph over them, when, under the threat of destruction, he forces them to sing a song in his honor:
Many of them were devoured by a Cluster Lizard that got on board the Lexx during the first episode, as well as being killed by Kai, Stanley and Zev, others were eaten by Giggerota (who found them 'too salty'), others were harvested by Bog to make Pattern, and the last were all destroyed by His Divine Shadow, when he became the Gigashadow and swept on board the Lexx to hunt down and kill the crew members.
