Distilus (stylized DISTILUS) is a web search engine and digital archive dedicated to distilled beverages. The company was founded in Toronto, Canada 2009 by Ryerson University alumni. As of February 2012, the site listed more than 1500 distilled beverages in its archive. The site states its dedication to the "Preservation, Promotion, and Discovery of alcoholic distilled beverages". The site has been accredited for its intuitive interface and ability to inform users of a beverages country of origin, year of distillation and alcoholic volume. Integration with Wine-Searcher.com Distilus has been integrated with the Wine-Searcher.com API providing users the ability to cross reference product prices from over 30000 wine & spirit merchants around the world. |
