Dimitri Livas (born 8 July 1976) is an Australian businessman, author and developer from Canberra, Australia. He was educated at the University of Canberra, Canberra Institute of Technology and The Australian National University. He is the current CEO of Savil, a commercial construction business which he founded in 2004. Biography Dimitri Livas was born in Canberra, Australia and grew up in the Woden area. Beginning work aged 9 years old at a small self-started car wash, during high school he developed a lawn mowing and services business. Whilst at university studying Commerce he bought a restaurant to develop, he continued to buy and develop restaurants and bars throughout Canberra. After university, he went on to start the process of building his first company, Savil. The Savil Group are a Canberra based construction company focused on commercial construction and large scale building remediation most known for their work with historical Canberra buildings. In 2018 Livas was interviewed by various radio stations including 4BC, 2GB and Mix 106.3 over the Notre-Dame de Paris fire and the possibility of restoration for the structure, and Mix 106.3 as well as The Australian Financial Review regarding the quality of build crisis in Australian residential and strata buildings. Dimitri also hosts his own weekly podcast Fixing Broken Buildings.
