Dimitar Beleliev

Dimitar Beleliev is a Bulgarian investor and leader of energy companies in Bulgaria.
Beleliev is the chairman of the board of the Bulgarian Association of Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Central Energy Repair Base JSC, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Contact Elements JSC, and founder of AmonRa Energy JSC.
Beleliev is also the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (since 2014), Chairman of the Board of the Association for Bulgarian-Ukrainian Friendship and Cooperation (since 2005), as well as a member of the Board of the Scientific and Technical Union of Power Engineers in Bulgaria (since 2016).
Since the end of 2023, he has been the Honorary Consul of Romania in the city of Plovdiv.
Since 2002, he has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the oldest and largest Bulgarian enterprise for the maintenance of large power-generating capacities in the energy sector - Central Energy Repair Base JSC. Since 2009, he has also been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Contact Elements JSC, a company specializing in the production of silver-based solders.
In 2020, he founded AmonRa Energy JSC, a certified center for products and solutions in solar energy and the first photovoltaic company listed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, BEAM segment.
Until 2010, Beleliev was the executive director of Techenergo JSC.
From 2007 to 2010, he served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Energoremont Holding JSC, and from 2003 to 2007, he was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Energoremont Varna JSC and Energoremont Ruse JSC.
Personal life and education
Beleliev was born on April 24, 1970 in Sofia. He is married, has two children, and is fluent in English and Russian. He holds a master's degree from the Technical University of Sofia with a degree in Transport Equipment and Technologies. Beleliev also holds a master's degree in Economics with a specialization in Energy Business from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia.
He has also earned a doctorate degree on the topic Assessment of Bulgaria's Energy Security, defended at the University of National and World Economy.
He is the author of numerous publications on issues related to energy security.
He completed his secondary education at the National High School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics Acad. L. Chakalov in Sofia.
