dgtl Concepts is a rapidly growing media company based in Nottingham. It was founded in 2014 by Sam Wordsworth, Atilla Arslan and Leo Mercier. dgtl Concepts has worked with many large brands and businesses, ranging from Red Bull to the University of Nottingham. dgtl Couture is an extension of the brand which focuses on destination wedding photography and videography. Recently, dgtl Events was created focusing on filming event content.
Video Production

The company's portfolio ranges from corporate promotional adverts, to event and festival films, to social media based content. Bespoke video can help companies from various industries, improving customer engagement, promoting your brand and giving you a competitive advantage.
dgtl Concepts have invested heavily in their video production capabilities, enabling them to satisfy the needs of the majority of filming ideas. With the use of Sony FS5, dgtl Concepts are able to record 4K footage and 8x super slow motion. Using the Sony α7s and Sony α7S IIs shooting in low light and in busy or crowded spaces is possible, which is perfect for events, nightclubs, and festivals. DJI supports the company which uses their Ronin-M lightweight stabilisation system, and also their Phantom and Inspire series Drones used for aerial photos and video. Recently, dgtl Concepts have been supplied by DJI with their latest FLIR Sytems Thermal Camera, opening up a whole new world of aerial recording possibilities.

Events
dgtl Concepts shoots for small and large events, from festivals to balls, they capture the ambiance of the event. Working alongside their experienced team of event photographers, dgtl Concepts has previously covered many famous events. These include: Rise Festival, University of Nottingham Graduation Ball, Outlook Festival, VT Takeover, Splendour and No Tomorrow.
Sports
dgtl Concepts has a team of highly experienced sports photographers that have captured many events, from the Challenge Cup Final at Twickenham, to the Nottingham Varsity Series, to Snowsports in the Alps. The company's work has been published in International Magazines and on billboards all around Nottingham.
Weddings
dgtl Concepts have recently launched their wedding brand dgtl Couture, which aims to provide wedding photography and videography for the special event. The company is currently taking bookings for wedding, pre-wedding and engagement photoshoots. At the moment, dgtl Concepts has 6 different wedding photographers and 3 videographers. dgtl Couture's wedding packages cater to all needs and budgets.
Fashion
In the past, dgtl Concepts have worked with brands such as Zara and the London Fashion Week. Working closely with Model Students, a university modelling society, dgtl Concepts have produced various highly acclaimed charitable 'Naked Calendars'. They have been presented in national newspapers and magazines. The company have connections to several photography studios in Nottingham and can also provide mobile studios if requested. dgtl Concepts cater to the needs of many- ranging from model wanting to update their modelling portfolio to brands looking to show off their latest clothing range.
Drone Aerial
Overview
The new trend of media production- aerial drone technology, has now become the norm for most professional video companies. dgtl Concepts specialise in combining their aerial services with their other production skills. Aerial platforms create footage of such a high quality that it beats full scale helicopter platforms, which can cost tens of thousands of pounds. This technology bridges the gap between affordable high quality and the aspirations of Hollywood.
Technology
In order to deliver the best quality footage, dgtl Concepts have invested into 2 aerial systems and a ground based stabiliser system. For the aerial systems, the company uses Inspire1 and the Phantom, supplied by DJI. As a result of the advanced technology, dgtl Concepts is able to get the shot in a fraction of the time and a tenth of the price, which makes them efficient and competitive.
Licensing
The UK government considers commercial drone flying as a serious risk therefore, a licence and permission are required. Drones are computers meaning they aren't perfect and have flaws. The CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) has implemented a strict set of guidelines helping to prevent major disasters, protect the privacy of others and ensure the security and safety of out skies in high risk environments. Commercial drone pilots must hold a BNUC-s licence and have a certificate from the CAA permitting them to fly commercially. Even when you have both of these, there are certain locations which are off-limits to flying. Photo Booth Hire
dgtl Concepts also offers photo booth hire, as well as professional mobile photo studios to make extra special events. The photo booth has an automated setup, greeting guests with very simple instructions on screen, lots of props and a button to start taking photos. The photo booth takes 4 photos, 1 photo every 3 seconds, perfect for fun photos. The client receives the digital images at the end of the night- being offered the option to add text or a logo. dgtl Concepts' photo booth is great for wedding receptions, birthday parties, engagement, corporate events, summer balls, anniversary parties and so much more.
Professional Mobile Photo Studio
dgtl Concepts' professional photo studio makes any event that much special. The event mobile photo studio consists of a professional photographer, a coloured backdrop, a full professional lighting rig, and upon request, on-site viewing and printing platform are available. The photo studio is ideal for black tie dinners, formal functions, balls, celebration events, birthday parties, graduation ceremonies, proms and much more. It adds professionalism and a touch of glamour to any event.
