Dez White (businesswoman)

Dez White is an American entrepreneur and philanthropist, who founded the company GoInvis, which develops smartphone apps designed to offer high levels of privacy and ephemerality. A former journalist, she also founded MouthtoEars.com, a gossip and fashion website.
Personal life and education
Dez White is a native to Southern California, and attended Howard University in Washington D.C., where she majored in political science.
White is a self-taught app developer, and is one of the youngest African-American tech entrepreneurs to successfully launch a suite of applications. It was re-launched in May 2014, and is still available in the App Store. The other, released in July 2016 is called Odellmoji, curated by Odell Beckham Jr.
She started the development of "State Safe Stop" under her company Media Opp to help save lives lost due to police brutality. The app was scheduled for launch in the Fall of 2016.
Philanthropy
White is the founder of GirlCode LA, a nonprofit organization that focuses on introducing women to the technology industry through various events such as summer camps and yearly seminars. The first networking event occurred in September 2014.
