DeVono Cresa, formerly DeVono, is a commercial real estate consultancy based in London, United Kingdom, and forms part of the Cresa network. DeVono Cresa provides commercial real estate services to occupiers, including, flexible workspace solutions, office agency, occupier disposals, design and build, project management, industrial agency, and portfolio solutions.
Overview
Founded in 2003 by Robert Leigh and headquartered in London, DeVono Cresa is a UK wide occupier-only focussed commercial property adviser with over 50 employees. DeVono Cresa is co-led by joint Chief Executive Officers, Luke Philpott and Robert Leigh. In 2008, DeVono Cresa’s founder, Robert Leigh, was listed as a ‘Young Gun’ by Property Week magazine. Young Guns is an initiative that celebrates the work of successful young entrepreneurs in the UK.
In 2016, the then DeVono partnered with the US multinational, Cresa, the world’s largest pure tenant advisory firm in the world to form DeVono Cresa. In the same year, DeVono Cresa launched its own design and build outfit, Dthree Studio, in collaboration with the ThirdWay Group, offering end-to-end services, specialising in the workplace.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Luke Philpott and Robert Leigh, Joint CEO’s of DeVono Cresa, led a campaign alongside over 60 leaders in the UK commercial property sector, calling on the UK Chancellor Rishi Sunak to extend the business rates holiday to companies across all sectors of the UK economy. During the COVID-19 pandemic, DeVono Cresa provided pro-bono services to over 170 commercial property occupiers and landlords. Chris Lewis joined DeVono Cresa in 2017 as Head of Occupier Advisory; previously serving as the lead partner of occupier advisory at Deloitte, a multinational professional services network.
Gemma Foord, formerly head of UK sales at Avanta Serviced Office Group plc, is the Head of Flexible Leasing & Consulting at DeVono Cresa.
