Development of Vietnam Endeavors

Development of Vietnam Endeavors (D.O.V.E.) - charitable fund providing humanitarian and development aid to Vietnam, mainly Quang Tri province. Founded in 1999 by Vietnamese American Do Nguyen, and also Chuck Oswald and Tom Schell from Rotary groups. Based in Ohio, USA.
The D.O.V.E. activities are concentrated on such spheres, as education, clean water, medical help, and economic development. It works closely with local government authorities and provincial bodies.
The group promoted a medical missions from St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in USA to a hospital in Vietnam, and raises about 80,000 USD ayear for its charity operations.
Projects completed: Nursery schools (18), Day care centers (6), Elementary schools (5), Medical centers (3), Water distribution centers (5), Water wells (370), Scholarships (Over $10,000 in 2006), Computer centers (3), Medical missions (3).
Projects underway: Dental services in Quang Tri, Constructing clean water projects in Quang Tri province, Micro finance projects for the poor women in Quang Tri, Elementary schools, Day care centers and Village nursery schools, Computers for high schools, Scholarships for orphaned children.
