History
DeskAlerts was founded in 2006 and focuses on internal corporate communications. Their communication software allows companies to update employees on meetings, industry trends, emergency alerts, event reminders and more.
In 2008 the company released an updated version of DeskAlerts in which clients could customize the look and feel of the software, in addition to being able to deliver surveys to employees' desktops. This release helped clients reduce excess email and telephone calls by streamlining company communication, while providing updates to employees in the office as well as remotely.
Current CEO, Vasily Salomatov, joined the company in 2012. Later that year, DeskAlerts added two additional components to their communication’s platform. First, they integrated a wallpaper feature. Second, they added screensavers.
By 2014, DeskAlerts introduced an emergency codes support system for the healthcare industry. That same year they debuted mobile applications for Android and iOS. Competitors in this field include Netpresenter and Snap-Comms.
