DePaul Detour

The DePaul University Detour (also known as The Detour or The DePaul Detour) is a college humor magazine, founded by DePaul University students in 2010.
The magazine is published monthly and is completely written by, edited by, and designed by DePaul University students. Each issue of the magazine is divided into an initial section entitled "Around Town" which contains fake news articles in the style of The Onion. The subsequent pages contain longer essay pieces, lists, graphics, cartoons, and fake advertisements.
Often, the magazine includes interviews. Notable interviews have included humorists and writers Michael Ian Black, Spike Feresten, and Kyle Killen.
