History
Sekai Dentokan Bugei Renmei
was created by Roy Jerry Hobbs in 1994.
Uniform
the uniform is the ji and you belt anround your waist tied with a box knot. The lower belts wear a lightweight ji. the upper belts wear a heavyweight ji. the resone this is, is that the lower belts don't do as much rolling and throws like the upper belts.
Mission
"To preserve and teach the traditional martial arts of Japan (including Okinawa). We strive to accomplish this in an environment free of intimidation, politics, and other distracters. We further seek to foster a spirit of fellowship and understanding, welcoming all like-minded individuals, regardless of race, gender, ethnic background, religion, national origin, or physical handicap."

*White belt: to get your white belt you become a sudent.
*Yellow belt: to get your yellow belt you must do Matsumura Seisan right.

*Blue belt to get this belt you must have a orange belt and do Wansu correctly.
*Brown belt to get this belt you must have a blue belt and do Passai correctly.
*Black belt to get this belt you must have a brown belt and do Naihanchi corrctly.
Computations
Dentokan students compete in kata and light contact computations. in the kata computations a Dentokan student porfors one of the kata above bfore 3 judges an get a score between 0 and 30. 0 being the worse and 30 the best. in a light contact computation a Dentokan student fights other students in a sigle round emanation. the Dentokan student a
Helmet to Protect the head. contacts between the bottom of the neck and above the belt count for a point. It take 3 points to win. Points are awarded by a referee.
