Dennis M. Lynch (January 1933—November 18, 2007) was an American politician who served as mayor of Pawtucket, Rhode Island from 1973 to 1981. Political career Electoral history Lynch was elected Mayor of Pawtucket on February 20, 1973, defeating councilman James Doyle by 12,381 votes to 10,742. Personal life Marriage and children Death and legacy Lynch died on November 18, 2007. He was posthumously recognized by the Rhode Island General Assembly.
