The Democratic Canadian Union was a failed attempt to start a new political party in Canada. T. Slama founded this party in 1999 by posting a bilingual website identifying the party's philosophy and policies, including reducing personal income taxes and Employment Insurance premiums, reducing taxes on small businesses, reducing the national debt, more assistance for students and retirement saving, more spending on health care and education, maintenance of constitutional monarchy. There appears to have been no further activity from this "party". |
