DELiT is a file management program developed by Storm Gate Media, based in England, United Kingdom. It was first released in 2010. DELiT is designed to provide an easy deletion solution for files that have encountered a handle error within Windows, This can be a major problem for users that download many files from the internet. The software currently uses built-in Windows XP commands in order to delete the unwanted files. DELiT finished main testing and Debugging on 12 April 2010, and in now available to the public on a limited bases. DELiT was officially released via the BitTorrent method, apposed to being listed on Freeware and Shareware sites. The simple design in intended for users with limited computer knowledge. The name DELiT comes from the words Delete and It.
