The process of abolishing a gender based system in society in an attempt to gain gender neutral status so both parties (male, female, or other). This may range from creating uni-sex bathrooms to uni-sex sports; this process was created to join both sexes in an attempt to create equality. Although the only instance in which degenderlization can be seen in affect in Western civilization is within lower grade education systems (Daily athletic time or Gym as its widely known) or Uni-sex bathrooms. Generally society has a very testosterone orientated way of thinking and the male counterparts are just as capable of many different things especially in modern day society where the female/male roles are contorting in many different ways.
