Deepa Miriam is a playback singer in different languages, from South India.
Her debut film was "Naan avanillai", Tamil
Breakthrough song "kangal irandaal" forms the Tamil movie "Subramaniya puram"
New Hit "Thulassi chediya", a duet song with Hariharan, Film "Seval"

Received certificates for performing well in the Maths Olympiad and UN Information Tests in High School.
Active participant in various School/ University functions, presentations and sports tournaments.
Won numerous medals and certificates for faring well in singing, elocution and recitation competitions.

Secured Best Child Singer award in an All-U.A.E music competition conducted by Umm Al Quwain Radio in 1992.
Secured First Prize in the Junior Category of a music competition conducted by Radio Asia, which was judged by eminent musician and music director M.G. Radhakrishnan and renowned Carnatic musician Dr. Omanakutty.
Has sung in movies, T.V serials, audio-video albums, presented programmes etc.
Has sung songs that have been telecasted in almost all the TV channels like Doordarsan, Kairali, Surya, Asianet, Podhigai, SS Music, RajTV, Vijay TV etc.
Has passed audition test and acquired B High Grade in All India Radio and sung songs for various programmes.
Scored the highest marks in Std.X Board Exam in the girls’ section and the second highest in the whole school; was awarded a free plane ticket to India by AIR India for the same.
Was awarded certificate for General Proficiency each year at school.
