Deep Magic is a book about Magic: The Gathering published by Wordware. Contents Deep Magic was written by Charles Wolfe and George H. Baxter. Reception John C. Bunnel reviewed Deep Magic for Dragon #227 (March 1996), and comments that "Players who own the cards to build Deep Magics sample decks either don't need this book, or will go straight to the appendices and skip the high-powered theoretical discussions. Players who don't can wade through the theory — but without either the 'power cards' or the card sense to make best use of the cards they do have, they won't be able to apply the knowledge. Wolfe and Baxter have produced a book that's interesting, but not one that's especially useful." |
