Decibel Insight is a London-based technology startup company founded in 2014, offering enterprise-level behavioral and customer experience analytics tools to better understand website visitor behavior. History Founded by Ben Harris and Tim de Paris in 2014, Decibel Insight was borne out of the digital agency New Brand Vision. Capitalizing on the strong technical team in-house and through a knowledge transfer partnership with London Metropolitan University, Decibel Insight was created to help marketers and web analysts understand visitor behavior on their website. Technology Decibel Insight’s solution is a ready to use, SaaS software suite with features such as heatmaps and visitor replays. Decibel Insight’s technology enables heatmaps to work on responsive and mobile optimised devices via a small JavaScript tracking code which is placed on pages where tracking is required. Decibel Insight integrates with a wide range of marketing software from other vendors, including testing tools, such as Optimizely.
