Debt Advice Foundation (DAF) is a registered charity in England and Wales. Money Diaries In September 2008 DAF published a book of Money Diaries called “The Price of Fame and Worldly Goods”. Aimed at helping primary school children understand how to manage money and avoid debt, it was written and illustrated by two schoolgirls from Southlands High School in Chorley. It was launched at a ceremony attended by Lindsay Hoyle MP and the Chairman of the Trustees, Dennis Benson. The second volume of Money Diaries, “Birthday Blues and the Sweet Taste of Money”, was launched in April 2009 with the support of Education minister Ed Balls.
