Early life and education: Deb Lawrence is an American contemporary artist based in Philadelphia, Pa Lawrence was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1958. She graduated from the University of Michigan with her Bachelor of Arts in 1980, and her Ph.D. from CWRU in 1986. Subsequently she studied under Gerald Vandevier, Professor Emeritus of drawing and painting from the Cleveland Institute of Art. Career Lawrence's work is represented by Cheryl Hazan Gallery in New York City and The Bonfoey Gallery in Cleveland, Ohio. Exhibitions |
