Death Korps

DEATH KORPS
Death Korps is a very low budget war film, directed and crewed mostly by students, with help from professional actors and equipment operators. The film focuses on Alpha Team and Bravo Team of the elite private army "Death Korps", whilst touching on a moving story of five orphans who have become stranded in the midst of World War Three. It spent just over a year in development, and is currently in Pre Production.
Plot
The year is 2018. The United Kingdom, United States of America, Russia, France and Germany have been invaded by a large army of rebels, who call themselves the "Federation of Liberated Europe". They believe in slaughtering the European superpowers, to cripple the EU and end their reign of war mongering and restrictions. The Federation is strong, and harbors rebels from almost every country around the globe. At their disposal are some of the World's most deadliest weapons, including the Hydrogen Bomb.
The invasion began in December 2016, when the operatives inside each country activated, tearing a hole in the defense grid. This allowed the rest of the Federation invasion force to pour in. The Ministry of Defense immedietely fell apart due to the surprise shock. One last force remained to retake England. They're the most elite fighting force, formed of hardened veterans. They have no fear. They have no mercy. They are the Death Korps. The Death Korps have been charged with the task to gain back control, and stop the spread of further terrorist attacks.
The Death Korps respond immedietely, even under extreme pressure. However, during an attack on London, Alpha Team are pulled out with orders to retreat to base. They have now been asigned a new mission. Two youngsters in a group of Orphans who are lost amongst the battlefields are the sons of the Death Korps founder, Edward Voyager. After reports that Minister Of Defense, Victor Cambridge, is kidnapping children, Alpha Team must find the two children and take them into protective custody. If anybody were to capture the children, they could use them as leverage against Edward Voyager, and force him to stand down the Death Korps.
But England still faces a threat greater than they can deal with. Threats of a hydrogen bomb launch from the Federation has been issued on live television, and with chemical attacks and air raids becoming the normal, fear rises in the hearts of the citizens. Pandamonium breaks out.

Production
Development
Development began in 2008, when writer/ director and producer Peter Joseph Saysell-Rosales was inspired by a location created in an archaelogical site behind his house, to make a feature length war film. The first concept showed B Rate elements, such as a cast of children playing adults. One of Peter's best friends, Adam Price, suggested when viewing the location himself to set the film about the Bolivian conflict in 1993. The story would follow five orphans who escape a capture truck and try to leave the Country. Pleased with this, Peter took some of these elements and transferred them into a World War Three invasion epic. Pre Production began on the completion of its Third Draft.
Two other writers wrote a few scenes into the screenplay: Alex Eastwood and George Ambrose
