Dead Frontier

Dead Frontier is an online top-down shooter released in May 2008 by U.K. game developer Jagged Blade Games. It is currently in Open Beta.
Summary
Dead Frontier is based on the zombie/survival horror genre. Taking place in Fairview City, a fictional city taking the spot of L.A. or New York City with some elements that resembles the city of London.
The game is created by Neil Yates (a.k.a AdminPwn in-game.) and features RPG statbuilding elements and classes (although the ones in this games are much more realistic).
You are able to barricade with your clan or other players around the world.
You must loot to find items to survive, finding items like; food, weapons, medical supplies, ammo, etc. As you kill more zombies you gain experience and level up.
In Dead Frontier, there are many ammo types. Here is a list of the different ammunitions found in Dead Frontier:
Handgun: .32, 9mm, .357, .38, .40, .45, .50
Rifle: 5.5mm, 7.5mm, 9mm, 12.7mm
Shotgun: 20 gauge, 16 gauge, 12 gauge
Grenades: 40mm
Nastya's Outpost
The location where you will start off and spend a majority of your post-apocalyptic days, Nastya's Outpost (named after Neil Yates' wife) contains six different click-able areas. They are
-"The Yard" (Where you can scrap items for cash, God Craft, Rename, Or Master Craft items in exchange for Credits)
-"Storage" (Essentially the bank)
-"The Meeting Hall" (the forum)
-"Records" (top players in five different categories, and two weekly categories)
-"The Marketplace" (selling and buying)
-"Inner City" (The place you click to go into the city and loot or grind)
There is also a toolbar above the content area of the site. It contains links back to the outpost's main screen, your inventory, the Shop (where you buy items to give you with real money), the forum (where you talk to all other players publicly, aka the meeting hall), your profile (to view or edit it), your messages, the player help guide, and the log-off function for when you have to go.
Nastya's Outpost is often referred to as "The Outpost", or in an even shorter abbreviation, the "OP" (OutPost). It comes under attack daily, where players must defend it from hordes of bloodthirsty zombies, in a battle that lasts about 45-60 minutes.
It is the only safe place in the city of Fairview, and currently the only NPC owned and permanent outpost.
Food and Nourishment
Thanks to this touch of reality, players cannot just sit around in the outpost for months at a time, because they are required to eat food to stay alive. It also affects your EXP gain, and eventually your health.
The player can be at four different types of nourishment:
Nourished - 76 to 100% - 200% exp gain
Fine - 51 to 75% - 100% exp gain
Hungry - 26 to 50% - all your stats are halved
Starving - 0 to 25% - Minus 1% health every half hour online
You will automatically lose nourishment against your will (obviously), and can only be regained by eating food that can only be obtained by buying it from other players or looting it yourself. You lose %1 nourishment every 30 minutes online spent INSIDE the outpost. You lose 1% every two minutes in the Inner City.
Credits
Credits can be obtained by donating money to the game. Credits can be used to buy ingame weapons, armor, ammo and a variety of other special services. It is possible to gift or sell credits to other players for in-game cash. Credits are an integral part of game-play as it provides some of the funds for the server which the game runs on.
Gold Membership
Gold membership was implemented on the 28th of March 2008. Gold Membership is Dead Frontier's subscription. Gold Members get a variety of benefits; including 200 of the aforementioned credits a month. Currently, the price is $8 per month. It is not required to subscribe to play Dead Frontier.
