Temidayo Israel Abdulai (born 29 January 1986) is a Nigerian politician, lawyer, and youth activist who was elected on the 26th of March 2022 as the National Youth leader of the All Progressives Congress . Life Israel was born and raised in Mushin, Lagos while his grandaunt, Alhaja Sinatu Banire was the then Iya Aro of Lagos. His father died when he was 11 and he was raised by his mother in the slum of Lagos Mainland, helping his mother in her business hawking shoes and African wears.. He started his education at Methodist Boys High School, Lagos and thereafter received a scholarship from the then Governor of Lagos state Bola Tinubu to study Law at London Metropolitan University between 2005 and 2009 and also earned a Master's in International Relations from the same University in 2010. At 12 he started the only child-led NGO in Nigeria at that time named General Action against the Violation of Human and Children's Rights and as a result of this he was elected into the Nigerian Children's Parliament at the age of 14 and rose to the position of its Deputy Senate President until his retirement. He was the Chairman of the Presidential Summit of Nigerian Children alongside leading the Nigerian Children delegation to the United Nations Special Session on Children in New York City and was also appointed as a one-day commissioner of Information in Lagos state in 2003 In 2017, Israel announced his aspiration for the Chairmanship seat of Lagos Mainland Local Government, in Lagos under the platform of the All Progressives Congress but didn't succeed as the All Progressives Congress decided to present consensus candidates for the election. He was appointed as a permanent member of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board, board in 2019 by the Lagos state governor and in March 2022 was elected as the APC national youth leader through a consensus selection.
