David Zdyrko (born March 5, 1973), also known as simply "Dave Z", is an American video game designer and producer. He is best known for his work on the multi-million selling ESPN NFL 2K5 and QUICKHIT NFL Football. Dave Z is both and avid video game player and sports fan and has been in the gaming industry since 1996. His early works started with his Sega Saturn fan site in 1996 at www.sega-saturn.com, which he parlayed into his first official gaming industry gig in 1998 at a company out of Redding, CA called Working Designs, which localized Japanese RPGs for release in the United States.
From there, he went on to work as an editor for PlayStation and PlayStation 2 sites, then as a producer and designer at Visual Concepts / 2K Sports on the company's football games, and then for Quick Hit / Majesco on the company's mobile and social games. To date, he has shipped14 titles for mobile, social and console gaming platforms.
