David X, is a prominent Canadian dating coach, author and speaker. Having been called "The Godfather of Seduction", David X has inspired a novel current of the seduction community, namely the direct approach to dating and approaching attractive members of the opposite sex. David X was also featured in Neil Strauss's non-fiction book The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists as having diametrically opposed views from Mystery (another pickup artist) and from which Strauss claims he has "learned a lot of little pieces of game would go on to use scores of times". The community of seduction has allegedly been created by Cliff from Montreal :"Starting in the late 1990s Clifford Lee, a consumate networker, tied the links between these separate teachers to create the first interconnected community. His Cliff's List Seduction Letter has been a central voice of the community." ( ). The idea that seduction can be learned has been inoculated to Cliff by David. When David has found out of the existence of the community, he has been diligently committed in helping students through a custom-tailored approach aimed to solving their specific dating problems. His coaching sessions are targeted on solving the core problems of his students. David is reputed to coach both men and women. David X has been a guest speaker in several programs by David DeAngelo.
