David Salamin

David Salamin (born September 11, 1990) is a Swiss ski mountaineer and Salamin was born in Grimentz in the Valley of Anniviers. He started ski mountaineering in 2002 and participated in his first race in 2005. Since 2008, he has been member of the Swiss national selection. Selected results 2009 *5th European Championship combination ranking *8th World Championship in Champéry Individual Race *9th World Championship in Champéry Vertical Race 2010 *3rd Trophée des Gastlosen (ISMF World Cup), together with Alan Tissières *9th World Championship in Andorra Individual Race *6th World Championship in Andorra Vertical Race 2011 NO RACE DUE TO A SPORT INJURY 2012 *1st Swiss Championship Team Race, together with Steven Girard *9th Patrouille Des Glaciers, together with Randy Michaud and Cédric Rémy *5th Trophée des Muverans, together with Pierre Bruchez *5th Linga Classic Châtel (France)
